{How to participate: 1) Join holy memes and kosmic blog starters and check it out every Friday for a different set of five questions. 2) Copy and paste those questions (and this message) into your blog. 3) Tag your entry with the words “Friday Five” and post it. 4) Come back to the pod and tell us about your post. 5) Message suzanne with ideas for next week. Let's spread the seeds! This week's questions are thanks to Larry (FreeFun). :) }
This week I am doing something different. I played & created the poem above & the roles below. As above, so below. Or so it seems.
How about playing the devil’s advocate, the naïve skeptic & ironic fool first…
1. How do you know something greater than you exists?
Why do you want to know?
How can smth be greater?
And how would I know?
2. How do other people relate to this something?
Why are you asking me?
Why should they relate?
Who cares how?
3. How can we affect changes in our lives?
Why should we change them?
Why even bother?
Why we?
4. How do you talk with this something greater?
Why would I do that?
Talk with it?
Me?
5. What have you been asked to do by this something greater?
Have you been asked?
Have I been asked?
What did I do?
And how about another perspective… Abstract, uncommon, interesting,…
1. How do you know something greater than you exists?
Intuition, guess, ESP, knowledge, obvious truth, reality, premonition, absolute certainty, insight, Inner feeling, guts, books, lucid dream, impossible uncertainty, testing doubts, fear, hearing it through the grapevine, Inner voice, others saying so, children’s eyes, answered prayers, miracles, acts of kindness, faith, trust, disbelief, pronoia, infinity, timelessness, manyness, duality, one, zero, nothing, something smaller, I, self, me, we, us, all, nature, Spirit, universe, Kosmos, enlightenment, joy, love, death, birth, cycle of life, silence, stillness, beauty, One taste, oneness, here, now, …
2. How do other people relate to this something?
In all possible, imaginable and unimaginable ways described above.
3. How can we affect changes in our lives?
By remembering who we are, being who are and living as we really are.
Doing our best to BE the change we want to see. Loving each other.
4. How do you talk with this something greater?
By trying to listen first and foremost. By imagining, envisioning, sensing, creating, expressing, enjoying, sharing, caring, helping, praying, crying, healing, failing, learning, growing, making, inventing, dancing, touching, seeing, feeling, thinking, meditating, playing, dreaming, loving, being, …
5. What have you been asked to do by this something greater?
TBA. Yet to find out. ☺ May be just to be. To Love & enJOY.
And here's the poem this whole experience inspired...

Something Greater
Something different
Something more
Something better
Something greater
Something larger
Something longer
Something further
Something deeper
Listen for whisper
Hear the message
Answer the call
Take the chance
Face the fear
Heed the omen
Scatter the joy
Spread the love
Sense the void
Feel the space
Think the time
Be the One

I love the poem! Beautiful! I also like how you played Devil's Advocate. Great way to let your ego have its say. Let it out to play in a safe environment. I like that. :)
