Where is the calmness
To cool fires within and out
When I need it least
Where is the stillness
To quiet the cacophony
When noise’s hard to find
Where is the courage
To face the truth with a smile
When bravery appears
Where is the oneness
To stop the false illusion
When duality fails
Where is the wisdom
To calm the restless mind
When serenity’s back
Where is the loving
Kind attitude toward self
When fear underwhelms
Where is the meaning
Of this mess and anarchy
When I found beauty
Where is the lesson
In this blessing in disguise
When it’s not hidden
