………………………………..and 1-1?
More favorites to come & be shared Sandra & Kat! Thank YOU before I hit the backspace :)
Albert, no doubt ALL WE do and Are is a form of communication & cycling between the extremes does not exclude the hugely overlooked importance of non-verbal communication and the impact of esp. body language both in modern and ancient traditions. Sharing verbally and non-verbally is really beyond description & categorization and yet one of our best human gifts! :)

The Japanese believe that one kind word can warm 3 winter months, while the Argentians that ”Who Speaks sows and who listens reaps.” Even Epictetus reminded us that we have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak. And it is so interesting that in the age of such advanced technologies and super sophisticated communication tools, we are still learning to listen - at least I do…
And in virtual environments like this, as much as I feel grateful to be able to communicate & share on so many levels with you, I always remember Charles Dickens saying:
”Electronic communication will never be a substitute for the face of someone who with their soul encourages another person to be brave and true...”
Imagining your eloquent face and mystic smile I leave you with these 3 other gems…
In the last analysis, what we are communicates far more eloquently than anything we say or do. ~ Stephen R. Covey
The most important things are the hardest to say, because words diminish them.
~Stephen King
The problem with communication is the illusion that is has occurred.
