To be busy the morning after
Women, they are imagining
To be non-bleeding the night before
Children, they are baring
To be seen on web screens
Adults, they are hiding
To be away from suffering
Possessions, they are flirting
To be seduced by generosity
People, they are life dancing
To be kidnapped by creativity
Animals, they are reproducing
To be left out of cloning trials
Plants, they are campaigning
To be eligible for gay rights
Beliefs, they are pimping
To be given to penetrate hearts
Ideas, they are competing
To be able to open minds
Souls, they are enjoying
To be free of inhibited misery
Spirits, they are laughing
To be witnessing the kosmic orgy

gay rights for plants….you crack me up….come to think of it I've seen the male flowers kissing in the pumpkin patch, so i guess it's about time.

it seems that plants are so diverse in their sexual & reproductive behavior that they are forerunners not only of gay rights but of many others like unisexuality which we humans do not honor yet.
Among plants, sometimes flowers possess both male and female sex organs, sometimes they are unisexual and on different plants, sometimes unisexual and on the same plants, sometimes flowers are designed so they can't self-pollinate, other times they have to pollinate themselves, and some plants skip the sex scene altogether by reproducing vegetatively.
The higher up the evolutionary scale you go, the kinkier it all gets.
Among animals we find everything from the male seahorse who carries the eggs, hatches them and takes care of the young, to the “polyandrous” Spotted Sandpiper whose females may lay up to four nests in a season, each equipped with a different male incubating the eggs. Of course the common earthworm is both male and female, and some snails sometimes mate with themselves, producing offspring.
So from homo- & bi-sexuality to polygamy and unisex, we have quite a catch up to do to the plant & animal world!
