TED and Miro announce the TED Miro player -- a free, downloadable, open-source media player that comes pre-loaded with TED's channels and content guide & access to 3451 other free channels, many of which with great content.
You can Download the TED Miro player here, for Mac and for Windows.
Using the channels, you can browse TEDTalks by 8 Themes -- "A Greener Future," "Africa: The Next Chapter," and many more. And you have access to the entire universe of programming available through the Miro player -- thousands of channels of news, educational programming, music and other video and audio podcasts.

If you wondering about the many German channels it is because TED is one of partners for the Miro player -- the other two are Revision3 & the German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle.

I am awaiting the first TED Talk with explicit reference to this tiny fragile….nano-dimension realm which some call and how it is RIGHT NOW already shaping in invisible impulses the leading edge.

It is happening and if TED in Monteray/Aspen at the end of the month does not present/address it then I sense that Long Beach'09 definitely will & there is a good probability that you may even know the presenter/s too…:) Voyage at the edge… Even beyond Third Tier.

The leading Edge of Leading Edge
So I guess we have to wait lots of years until the TEDsters are ready to be an audience for this. The tough, fiery and ultimately demanding practice for this STAGE is simply to much for them right now.
Mr. Anderson should have the balls and invite Andrew Cohen. Then lets speak again:):)
Albert, I saw that video & even read the discussion between you & Mushin on the subject. I tend to agree somewhat with the missing aspect of Integral Activism and putting those Leading Edge ideas & visions into action and direct collective and experiential testing, but that is coming and I acknowledge the need to have the intentions, discussions and even 'mind games' first before reaching the higher stages.
We know that everyone sees, speaks & acts from his/her own belief, altitude and level of consciousness, so the numbers should not surprise us, the speed of change can though. As is the acceleration of spiralling up massively & globally. Even TED is transforming radically - the amazing lineup in few weeks includes Leading Edge people and ideas in many other fields too like Brian Cox and Garrett Lisi who are literally probing the edges of the Universe through the Matter/Energy deepest exploration and creating another New Unification Theory of Everything from a Quantum Physics, mathematics and astronomy perspective…
I think, feel and believe and would not be surprised to see AC & KW & DB in the next iteration for after tackling the biggest questions this year TED cannot but go deeper, higher & wilder toward the very Edge. So we can bet on it or just speak again while it happens in front of our very minds & heARTS… :)
May it come true this way….in this case: The stage at the stage! However it would not be funny in the same way like now……Most speakers and participants have not the slightest feeling of the FIRE its necessary for this transition.
And DB is still denying it officially. Just want to add my highest respect for Don. As he is one of the very, vey, very honest people who speak absolutely clear. His request for respecting Clalre Graves and not violate copyright on it is very necessary.
Regarding Thrid Tier:
It is already tested. By me. By Andrew and his students and many others. The only reason I will not speak about it next years is I have a professional focus and responsiblity in other realms.
However Andrew has his FUNCTION as Guru and could speak there. It will take decades to unfold this STAGE more into action..even the seed cycle is full of fights and most heroic efforts. I see right now ONLY Andrew who would master this challenge at this stage.
