This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 09, 2008:
What actually doesn't? I think/feel ANYTHING And EVERYTHING connects us & brings us together. But if I had to list what really makes the difference beside LOVE that would be HUMOR AND JOY. Our ability to smile, laugh & not take ourselves so seriously. Find the positive & funny even in the gloomiest places, darkest times & most miserable people. And do it with a contagious laughter, positive attitude & pronoic actions that transforms everything. Yes? :)

That beach photo was the first thing that caught my eye on Gaia this morning. I had to get close enough to have a laugh at it. I think you're right about humor and it certainly is one of the qualities of humanness that we can take pleasure in sharing. And I've always loved the Shirely Maclaine quote.
I have said more than once while talking to some overly serious pompous person….the difference between me and you is that I know I'm full of shit.
I agree…it's very important to be able to laugh at yourself. Great beach photo.
Indeed, the joy of humor connects people. I like your artistic and playful response to the question, Joy! Hugs!
Hey Janet - hope you keep laughing all day and more!
Maze, I am t/here with you, full of That & some funnilicious stuff too! Cheers!
Mila, what a Joy UR - let's keep co-creating artistically & playfully like the genius children we are and have plenty of laughs along the way!
